Management

Attempt oral re-hydration at home (e.g., breast-feeding or clear fluids)

Call 911 or go to the emergency room

  1. aChild with history of severe FPIES reaction: call 911 or go to the emergency department if the triggering food was definitely ingested, even in the absence of symptoms or with any symptoms regardless of severity
  2. bChild with no history of severe FPIES reaction
