  1. Fibroblasts were incubated with either medium alone (control) or with the indicated concentrations of the compounds, and the change in the IL-6 production was calculated relative to the control, as detailed in Materials and Methods. In medium alone, IL-6 production was 6700 ± 450 pg/mL. The data are the mean ± standard error of the mean of 2 experiments performed in triplicates.
