The IgE binding protein of pollen or PCG extracts separated by IEF followed by immunoblotting with rat sera. A, Water-soluble pollen extract; B, water-insoluble pollen extract; C, water-soluble PCG extract; D, water-insoluble PCG extract. Each strip was incubated with rat serum: strips 1-3, negative control group; strips 4-6, rats sensitized and challenged with 4.5 × 107 washed PCGs; strips 7-9, rats sensitized and challenged with 4.5 × 107 unwashed PCGs; strips 10-12, rats sensitized and challenged with 0.5 mg of pollen (pollen).
