Omalizumab mechanisms of action. Omalizumab/anti-IgE decreases free IgE, IgE bound to FcεRI, and FcεRI expression on mast cells, basophils, dendritic cells, and monocytes. It also reduces tissue infiltration by T and B lymphocytes, eosinophils, mast cells, and basophils.
